Lights In The Sky

It just dawned on me - this beautiful song on the latest NIN release.

I believe this is done from the perspective of someone who has passed away.

They are staying close to a loved one, 'watching over' them..like a gaurdian angel..

'the lights in the sky have finally arrived - i am staying right beside you'

'watching you drown I'll follow you down - I am staying right beside you...'

I could almost picture my dad singing this lullaby to me as I struggle through life...

and then the song transitions into corona radiata - which to me reminds me of floating in space..

could be an interpretation of someone passing away - and experiencing whatever happens -

it is unknown but the feel of the song reminds me of what I envision..

very cool - I just love NIN music.
